What data I collect
If you subscribe to Backstage Notes, your email address. Nothing else. No name, no company, no job title.
This site runs no analytics, no social media pixels and no cookie banner, because there are no tracking cookies to accept. The server the site sits on keeps access logs, as every web server does.
What for, and on what basis
To send you one email a month. The basis is your consent: you sign up yourself, and then confirm it from your inbox before the subscription is active. That confirmation is recorded with its date.
What the emails record
The emails record whether they are opened and whether a link is clicked. It tells me whether a piece is read. If you would rather that was not recorded for you, write to me and I will switch it off.
Where the data is kept
In the database of this site, with MailPoet. Sending is handled by the MailPoet service. The data is not shared, not sold, and not used for anything else.
For how long
Until you unsubscribe. Every email carries the link at the bottom, and it works.
What you can ask me for
To know what I hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Write to hi@guacimara.ch and the answer comes from me.
